Find and Join Events

Use this guide to discover public sessions and RSVP quickly.

1. Search nearby events

  • Open Find Events.
  • Enter ZIP code and radius.
  • Adjust filters for timeframe, event type, and sort order.

2. Evaluate an event

  • Open the event detail page.
  • Check start time, location, recurrence, and capacity.
  • Read description and any attendance requirements.

3. Join the right scope

  • One-time event: standard join flow.
  • Recurring event: choose the intended scope when prompted (single occurrence vs. series).

4. Manage your attendance

  • Joined events appear in My Events, filtered to events you host or attend.
  • Switch between Calendar and List on that page based on how you prefer to review upcoming sessions.
  • Leave from event cards if plans change.
  • Watch notifications for updates and reminders.

Tips for better results

  • Keep your timezone updated in Profile.
  • Expand radius when local results are sparse.
  • Join early for capped events.
