Install Guildhall on Your Phone (PWA)

Installing the Guildhall mobile PWA gives you app-like access from your home screen without going through an app store flow.

Guildhall also provides a dedicated mobile companion site at mobile.guildhall.events. This is a different website from the main app domain and is optimized specifically for phone-first use.

Why install the mobile PWA

• Faster one-tap access from your phone home screen.
• Cleaner full-screen experience compared with browser tabs.
• Better day-to-day event workflow for hosts and attendees.
• Mobile-friendly notifications workflow for reminders and updates.

Main site vs mobile site

• Main site: guildhall.events
• Mobile companion site: mobile.guildhall.events

You can use either, but if you want the most phone-optimized install flow, start from the mobile companion site.

What you can do from mobile

• View upcoming events and join/leave quickly.
• Open event details, schedules, and updates on the go.
• Check notifications and recent activity.
• Access your account and store workflows from a mobile-friendly UI.

Install on iOS (iPhone/iPad)

Use Safari for best results.

1. Open mobile.guildhall.events in Safari (recommended).
2. Tap the Share button.
3. Tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Name it (or keep default), then tap Add.
5. Launch Guildhall from your home screen icon.

Install on Android

Use Chrome (or another browser with install support).

1. Open mobile.guildhall.events in your mobile browser (recommended).
2. Tap the browser menu.
3. Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
4. Confirm install.
5. Open Guildhall from your app drawer/home screen.

If you see an in-app install prompt, you can use that directly.

Notifications on your phone

To receive notification alerts reliably:

• Make sure you are signed in to Guildhall.
• Allow notification permission when prompted.
• Ensure browser/app notifications are enabled in OS settings.
• Disable Focus/Do Not Disturb rules if you expect real-time alerts.

You can always review missed items in Notifications.

Troubleshooting

• No install option on iOS: use Safari, not an in-app browser.
• No install option on Android: update browser and revisit the site.
• Not getting alerts: re-check notification permissions at browser and OS levels.
• Opened as a tab instead of app: relaunch from the home screen icon.

Recommended onboarding flow for stores and hosts

1. Install PWA first.
2. Verify timezone in Profile.
3. Open My Events and Notifications.
4. If you run a store, configure My Store and invite tools.
